Footnote 1 -- (Lamentations Chapter 1:5) "Yahweh" is God's proper Name, sometimes rendered "LORD" (all caps) in other translations.

Footnote 2 -- (Lamentations Chapter 1:14) The word translated "Lord" is "Adonai."

Footnote 3 -- (Lamentations Chapter 3:41) The Hebrew word rendered "God" is "Elohim."
